Opening batsman Roy has been fined 30 per cent of his match fee for displaying dissent twice during his 42-run knock at New Delhi. Roy was fined for using obscene language when he was given out lbw in the 13th over, and again when he threw his bat and helmet as he exited the playing arena. Roy breached Article 2.1.5 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to "showing dissent at an umpire's decision during an international match".
